It’s time to move on
Sylvie: I get why you’re mad.
Sylvie: I’m sorry.
Gwen: I have a hard time believing that.
Sylvie: Sure you can understand where I was coming from?
Sylvie: I was angry. I felt betrayed.
Sashka: Ironically, that’s how you’ve made us feel. What were you hoping to get from this all? Some form of justice?
Sylvie: I guess so.
Sashka: And do you feel triumphant now?
Angie: Revenge doesn’t taste as sweet as you thought it would, does it.
Sylvie: Fine. Yes. I made a mistake, happy now?
Carlie: Sylvie, it’s not about us wanting you to feel bad. We want you to see that there was no reason to be upset in the first place and what the actual productive ways you could have dealt with this.
Sylvie: It’s easier to act on the anger.
Carlie: I think we can all relate to that, but it takes courage to be able to put that aside and figure out what the actual right thing is in this situation.
Sylvie: I know. I’m working on it.
Sashka: And we’re here to help you do so.
Carlie: I mean it, we’re here.
Sylvie: I know, I appreciate it. I think I’m going to take a break for a bit from the Internet and recuperate.
Angie: This sounds like a good decision to me.
5 months later
Carlie: I’m so glad to hear your trip went well, Sashka!
Sashka: Me too, but I’m glad to be back home. How have things been on your end?
Carlie: A whirlwind as usual, but I can’t complain!
