After cancelling the first concert of her tour, the El Dorado World Tour, which was due to start on November 8 in Germany due to health problems, Shakira turned to social networks to announce the cancellation of four more shows.
“I was hoping to get back in time to sing in Paris, but with great regret for me it was not possible and the doctors advised me to keep the vocal rest,” she said the artist in a statement, on her Instagram page, this Thursday, November 9.
“I am very sorry to inform you all that I won’t be able to sing on the 10th and 11th in Paris and 12th in Antwerp, or the 14th in Germany but we are working on confirming new dates,” Shakira announced.
The Colombian artist also left a message of appreciation to the fans who have supported her in this troubled moment of her career. “Once again, I give my heartfelt thank you for all the support you give me at this difficult time. With the help of God, we will soon begin my tour,” she wrote.
If in the meantime she recovers, Shakira is scheduled to perform on November 16 in Montpelier, France.
