Anti-Kardashian Stickers Littering Hamptons
#NODASH stickers with the smiling faces of Kourtney Kardashian, 35, and Khloe Kardashian, 30, are being plastered over the famous villages known as the Hamptons in Long Island, New York. Apparently, the Kardashian presence for the filming of the new spinoff Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons isn’t welcomed. Real estate brokers reportedly did not want to work with the pair in finding their perfectly lavish home to stay in while filming and opening up their New York branch of DASH, the clothing store holding their namesake, for fear of upsetting locals. Some even flat out refused to rent to them.
Even through the opposition, the E! production staff found a $14 million mansion, which they paid $300,000 for, but because of the problems in the Hamptons area, their home needed a private beach for filming as well. Diane McNally, East Hampton Town trustee, was informed that the Kardashian girls were filming on Indian Wells Beach in Amagansett. McNally opened up to the New York Post’s Page Six, saying, “Who gave the Kardashians permission to film? The trustees should have been notified if they had applied for a permit to film on the beach, and we were not notified. Filming on our beaches is disruptive. Our residents are entitled to peace and quiet. I suggest that if anyone sees the Kardashians filming on the beach, they should call the police, because they are not legally there.”
If Page Six is to be trusted, the Kardashian clan will be out of a lease on Aug. 18.
