Cannes Strange Rules

A few days ago, before the 2015 Cannes Festival started, a strange and controversial rule applied. “High Heel Rules”, which means everyone (a woman of course) must wear high heels to come to Cannes, especially when you walk in a red carpet, or they wouldn’t be allowed to enter the venue.

One person has been rejected to the event because she had no heels. This was blown up by the media and heard by many people including Emily Blunt, the Hollywood star, and she said “This is ridiculous and sad at the same time.” However, Thierry Fremaux, the 2015 director of Cannes Festival apologized and says it just a matter of miscommunication and everyone should be allowed to wear flats and any shoes, not only high heels.
