Canvas Easter Bunny
Hip-pity hop-pity Easter’s on its way! And let us celebrate with making a cute bunny on canvas to display in your home!
Things You Will Need
- Picture Frame
- Bunny silhouette
- Paint Brushes
- Scrapbook Paper
- Spray Adhesive
- Cotten balls
Cut out the bunny and lay it down on a surface you do not mind getting glue on. I put down printer paper. Spray the glue and let it set for 2 to 5 minutes before placing on canvas
Pour the paint and cover the canvas in paint. Be careful painting the bunny so you do not get paint underneath were you do not want it. I made that mistake and had to touch it up with white paint.
Now it is time to make a mess! Rip up 3 or 4 cotton balls, depending on how fluffy of a tail you want. Combine the ripped up cotton balls together and spray with spray adhesive! Use gloves to keep it off your hands or be like me and make a mess. If you choose to not wear gloves and accidentally get it on your fingers, I have learned vegetable oil is the best to remove glue from fingers.
With your bunny finished, cut out triangles for the banner. I cut five and made them a little to big and could only use 3. Tape the banner to the twine and then tape the twine to the back of the canvas. If your flags do not sit like you want, use a little tape on the back to keep them in place.
And now the cute little bunny is done! Let it dry and hang it wherever you like!
