TV Show Review

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

This show is funny to watch, full of moments that makes you cringe and look away with embarrassment for the main character. The musical part of it is probably more funny than the dialogue. So, if you decide to watch it do pay attention to the lyrics of the songs.

Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom), the main protagonist, impulsively leaves a partnership opportunity on her law firm in the city of Manhattan and moves to West Covina, California in search of happiness and love. She also tries to find whatever it is that seems to be missing from her life. This decision is made after crossing paths with her long lost love Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III), who had dumped her ten years before on the last day of summer camp.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was created by Rachel Bloom, who also plays the main character and by Aline Brosh McKenna. This musical comedy is the perfect show to binge watch on Valentine’s day, especially if you are looking for something light to enjoy alone or with company.
