Girl Power!

Mo’ne Davis. An inspiration to girls everywhere. She has appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated before even entering the 8th grade!

She is the 18th girl to have played in 68 years of the Little League World Series and the first female pitcher to have thrown a shutout. It’s absolutely amazing. People are saying that she is being talked about more than Derek Jeter, the (now retired) captain shortstop, and one of the most famous MLB players, for the New York Yankees!

At times, this talented 13 year old girl has to be escorted by golf carts just to get around all of the supporters/fans. She is completely humbled by it and even finds it weird at times when adults come up to her for autographs.

She is truly inspiring to not only girls everywhere, but anyone who may think that they can’t accomplish greatness.
