TV Show Review

Gotham

In all things creepy and thrilling, here is one of the newest series of 2014.

The series that only started this year (and is not even half way through the first season) is already a hit! This crime series has not only been raved about on Diva Chix, but has also gotten a great reception. With a talented cast and unique storyline, the show is gaining millions of fans.

The central concept of the show is about a pair of detectives who are on a very tricky and mysterious case. Of course, it is a murder. Throughout the investigation, we meet many other characters. Another interesting concept about this show is that the characters are from DC Comics, mainly Batman. The show will attempt to talk about the earlier days of many Batman villains and talk about how they came to be.

The first season is set to have 22 episodes, so if you are tempted to begin, start now! You can easily catch up. If you aren’t as convinced yet, here are some of the leading cast members that you might recognize: Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Zabryna Guevara as Sarah Essen, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald “Penguin” Cobblepot, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Camren Bicondova as Selina “Cat” Kyle, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Victoria Cartagena as Renee Montoya, Andrew Steward-Jones as Crispus Allen, and John Doman as Carmine Falcone.

Final Thoughts

If superheros and villains are your cup of tea, check out the television series. You can never go wrong with an action-packed, dramatic and crime-filled show. Whether you root for the heroes or the villains (something I find myself doing much more lately), give a few episodes a try.
