TV Show Review

Grimm is an American police procedural television drama series. It debuted on NBC on October 28, 2011. The show has been described as a cop show with a twist.

It is a dark and fantastical project about a world in which characters are inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales exist, although the stories and characters inspiring the show are also drawn from other sources. This April, NBC renewed Grimm for a sixth season and will have 13 new episodes.

Homicide investigator Nick Burkhardt of the Portland Police Department learns that he is a descendant of a line of guardians known as the Grimm charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world called Wesen, the German name for being or creature. Throughout the series, he must battle against an assortment of dangerous creatures with the help from his Wesen friend Monroe, and his partner Hank Griffin.

Cast: David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree turner and Claire Coffee

The show was created by Stephen Carpenter, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf.
