1. When did you first start designing CYO?
I started designing CYO as soon as I joined DivaChix (about 2 years ago).
2. What made you start designing CYO?
I was already designing with Photoshop for a while and I really love fashion. So, when with my friends we found DivaChix, it was just perfect! It’s just amazing to be able to do CYO.
3. What is your favorite CYO piece that you have created?
I would say most of my pieces in CYO competitions like Divamour. Because I have to think so much to make an unique outfit, I have to “think out of the box” and I really enjoy it. I think these kind of competitions help you to grow in a positive way. The one I love the most so far is
this crab girl lol because even if it’s not perfect, I drew everything!
4. What your biggest CYO accomplishment so far?
Definitely being on the Design Team!
5. What is the best thing about designing CYO?
I think the best part is when people are really thankful because you made an outfit for them. Their smiles are really an energy for me! and of course, seeing my outfits in battles and DOTD nominations. That’s amazing.
6. How long does it take you to create a CYO piece?
It really depends, it varies from hours to days. But I love to create complete outfits that’s why often I’m taking 1 or 2 days. I know from experience that it’s better to look your outfit another day because you’ll see little details/imperfections you missed before ^^
7. Who is your favorite CYO designer?
I want to say the entire team! Because everyday I’m surprised how amazing each and everyone of my teammates can be. They all have their own styles and that’s what makes us a good team. But if I have to give names, I’ll say Focus, she’s such an artist, I love her. And also, the amazing Zumzy. Designing like them is a dream for me.
8. What’s one tip you can offer to new CYO designers?
I think the most important is to be patient and to work, work, work! Don’t hesitate to ask others for help, it will be really helpful. Also take the time to do CYO, sometimes little details can change everything. Also, every step is important : the shape, the color & shading, we must not overlook any of them.
