Rocky Road Brownies


About a week ago, the temperature finally dropped down low enough to put me in a baking mood. So, I invited my cousins over and we all picked a recipe to back. This is one of the recipes picked by my 13 year old cousin and boy is it delicious along with easy!

Ingredients:
1 cup Sugar
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
1. Preheat over to 350 F and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
2. Add all ingredients together except marshmallows. Stir until well blended.
3. Pour batter into pan and back for 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows and back for another 3 to 5 minutes. Cool before eating.

These brownies are delicious and very moist. They are easy to make with kids and fun for day of baking. They are definitely chocolaty so steer clear if you aren't a chocolate lover. And for a extra twist add more chocolate chips on top when you add the marshmallows. Enjoy!
