TV Show Review

Survivor: Game Changer – Season 34

Survivor is a reality competition television show where participants aim to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast everyone in the game. The show features a group of contestants who are marooned on an isolated location, where they must provide food, water, fire and shelter.

The contestants compete in challenges for rewards and for immunity from elimination from the game. The contestants are eliminated as they are voted out by their fellow contestants until one remains and is declared the winner and is awarded a million dollars and the title “Sole Survivor”. The entire length of the game is 39 days.

They have Tribal Councils for the losing team who did not win their challenge. This is where they vote out one of their players, eliminating them from the game.

There are Tribal Swaps, the Merge, Challenges, Tribal Challenges, Individual Challenges, Tribal Council and then the final Tribal Council. Plus there are hidden Immunity Idols to be found which helps a player stay longer in the game should he/she think they will be voted out, they can use it at Tribal Council to save their place in the game for another 3 days.

The final Tribal Council will consist of the final 3 contestants who will plead their case to the Jury (Jury is made of of the last 10 of 16/17 players who were voted out) as to why they deserve to win the million dollars.

Final Thoughts

I enjoy watching each season of Survivor and picking a contestant to hope he/she makes it to the final 3. Sometimes I win and sometimes my contestant does not survive. However, it is still a fun show to watch and keeps me entertained every Wednesday night at 8:00 pm.
