The Flash

If you are a fan of Arrow, you know that there is a spin-off being produced called The Flash that will be premiering on October 7, 2014!

Grant Gustin will be playing the role of The Flash. If you’re familiar with the story, you know about the infamous accident that takes place at the S.T.A.R. Labs that eventually leads to Barry Allen falling into a coma. When Allen wakes up, he no longer is the forensic investigator he was before, but rather who we know today as The Flash. The other cast members include Candice Patton as Iris West, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Cast as Barry Allen’s father is John Wesley Shipp who actually previously played Barry Allen aka The Flash in a series back in 1990 of the same name.

Barry Allen has not led an easy life with his rough childhood. As he grows up, he is employed at the Central City Police Department where he becomes excluded from the others because of his inability to let go of his past. He spends most of his time trying to discover what happened with his mother’s murder and is determined to eliminate his father as a suspect. Following this comes along the explosion leading to his new form. Promising to use his new powers for good, he truly becomes a superhero.

Are you planning on watching the show next month? Sticking with just Arrow? Or neither?! Have you read the DC comics? Let us know!

Promising to use his new powers for good, he truly becomes a superhero. Who doesn't love a good, action-filled plot with a clear super hero vs. villain! Whether you root for the good guys or the bad ones - make sure you look out for the premiere.

I’ve never watched Arrow before (and I’ve always been meaning to because I hear it’s a fantastic show), but I love The Flash so far! I think Grant Gustin is perfect for the role. He’s one of the reasons I decided to watch the show ngl. hahaha
