Top 9 Through The 9 Years of Diva Chix
On the 9th Anniversary of Diva Chix, I bring you the opportunity to feel nostalgic, by talking about the most famous songs that were released over these nine years.
In 2008, Jason Mraz, made us smile and fall into the groove of “I’m Yours”. With its lovely lyrics and chill music, I’m sure we all fell in love with his song.
One year later, in 2009, we were hit by “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas, and we all were immediately struck by the positivism of this song lyrics.
Back in 2010, we were all smitten with the gorgeous Bruno Mars and the claims that he likes “Just the Way You Are”. I’m pretty sure when we see his face, there’s not one thing that we would change, right?
In 2011 this funky funny group LMFAO brought us “I’m Sexy and I Know It”, which made us feel a lot more confident.
“One More Night” was brought to us in 2012 by Maroon 5. Its sexy lyrics and catchy tune made the song stay on the charts for a really long time.
The clubs back in 2013 were filled with people listening and dancing to Avicii, when he released the awesome hit, “Wake Me Up” and I sure feel nostalgic thinking about this one.
In 2014, we learned that it’s not safe to swing from the “Chandelier”. Sia with her lovely voice, brought us this lovely song, and the video of it… it’s mesmerizing.
With the release of Furious 7 in 2015, so was the release of the single and theme song for the movie, “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and special participation of Charlie Puth. This song is most known as a tribute to Paul Walker.
We all need to work in order to live a steady life, but last year, in 2016, Rihanna made sure we knew we had to “Work”. It was a major hit on the charts, and it’s still heard everywhere.
And we’re finally in 2017, 9 years later, and even though the year is not over, “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran is surely the biggest hit on the charts.
What do you think of this list? Are you feeling nostalgic? I can tell you that I am!
