Do It Yourself

Vial of Blood

Happy Halloween Ghouls! Lets celebrate with a vial of blood. Not a real one, of course, but one that can be used as decoration or in my case made into a necklace. Follow this DIY tutorial and learn how to make one for yourself..

Things You Will Need

  • Casting Resin
  • Popsicle Stick
  • Kabob Stick
  • Powder Blush
  • Plastic Cup (I used an old medicine cup)
  • Mini Glass Vial

Mix the resin according to the instructions. Mine is a 50/50 mixture.

Use the popsicle stick to scrap the blush into the resin to color it. Add as much or as little as you would like to get the color you prefer.

Once you get the color you like carefully pour it into the vial. If you spill any use rubbing alcohol to clean it. It is best to clean it up quickly

Once the resin is all poured put the cork in the vial. It is best to let the resin sit and cure for 24 hours. If you want the cork to be permanently in the bottle use super glue. Some times if the resin is poured high enough the resin will seal the bottle
